We <3 Hugs

We <3 Hugs
I found this thing about hugs on the internet its adorable!! May when I see you tomorrow I'm gonna hug you =) no homo though LOL

What are Hugs...?
There is no such thing as a bad hug, only good ones and great ones

Hugs are...
non fattening and they don't cause cancer or cavities..
all natural with no preservatives, artificial ingredients or pesticide residue...
easy to care for, they are a completely renewable resource..
non-taxable, fully returnable and energy efficient..safe in all kinds of weather
In fact, hugs are especially good for cold and rainy days
Hugs are exceptionally effective in treating problems like bad dreams or Monday blues...
Never wait until tomorrow to hug someone you could hug today, because when you give one, you get one right
back your way!

=) I wish I could meet whoever wrote this & hug them LOL

Everyday is precious...

Today in my American Government/Economics class we were talking about terrorism and 9/11. It reminded me of this movie starring Adam Sandler called Reign Over Me.. If you haven't watched it I suggest you go watch it now!! It's the best movie ever & trust me you will cry!!.. It's about a man who lost his wife and kids in the Boston flight that was part of 9/11 and after that he basically gives up his whole life and becomes this unrecognizable person...He has so much pain inside & to hide it he listens to these headphones with music blasting in attempts to forget what has happened... It also reminded me of the day of 9/11 where my cousin lost her husband in one of the buildings as he helped people get out and where my other cousin who normally went to work everyday stopped to eat breakfast at his mothers house.. something he has never done.. I also remember one of my other cousins who is a teacher telling me she could see the towers falling through her classroom window.. it was such a sad event in American history & my teacher says terrorism is only getting worse... Who knows when they will strike us again? And where? I remember visiting the site after the attacks.. where dust still filled the sky and there was an eery silence.. I even found a 20 dollar bill on the ground as I walked out of the subway & was too scared to pick it up....It seems for a while after that the city that never slept was quiet .. no longer the New York that my parents and sisters lived in and called home.. who knows if it will ever return to the same New York it use to be? Just remember this: Live everyday as if it was your last because someday it will be. Sing like nobody's listening, dance like no one's watching, tell that someone that you love them & love like you've never been hurt...live for every moment because everyday is precious.

Kathy
Hiii I'm Kathy :) (May isn't here today :( ) I'm 18 years old and I live in Miami, FL. No no it's not as wonderful as they show it on the TV shows and movies lol :p. .umm lets see.. I love having a good time and I'm always either smiling or laughing :).. I think a day without laughter is a day wasted! I enjoy the simple things in life like watching the ocean or getting caught up in the rain. Those are things that make me appreciate life because everyday that I wake up I feel so lucky to be alive with all the different issues going on in the world today (genocide, world hunger, etc.) I also have a great passion for traveling & Italy!! I love seeing new places and just seeing the way other people live their lives, their culture, their country, their language...So far I've been to Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Bahamas, the Netherlands, different states throughout the U.S. & Italy.. Not too many places but I hope to travel more now that I'm almost done with school :) I LOVE Italy with a capital l-o-v-e lol :) and ever since I was a little kid I dreamt of going there.. when I finally did go it was even more than I had imagined.. I loved everything about it.. the language, the scenery, the food, italian culture & history (I love reading and learning about anything that has to do with the Roman Empire!!) my favorite place is the Trevi fountain cause of course I throw in coins to make sure I return to Rome :) and after I graduate my university I'm moving to Italy :) well yeah.. I gotta learn Italian first :) lol...know you know ALOT about me lol... probably more than you should know... lol jk .. May's computer is broken or she would have wrote about herself too >=( we miss you May <3 :) .. Sorry if this is short.. but I'm really sick so maybe when I get better..

<3 Live life passionately. Laugh until your belly hurts. Most importantly, LOVE unconditionally. <3

Future

Future
Mr. Incredible as he is known :) behind the tough guy image he is nothing but a big teddy bear and the best teacher I have had so far in my life... Here he is shown about to throw a desk at a student who doesn't know the answer (You can bet we all remember the answer now) ... Mr. Incredible has been through it all.. from being a bouncer at NY nightclubs to dealing with drug and alcohol addictions and growing up with a rough life he gives us "tough love" and each day in his class he pushes us beyond our limits because he knows we are more than capable of.. I think I am pretty used to walking into his class and having him cursing and yelling at us if we didn't study.. He has taught me things that I'm never going to forget like "you better bust your behind going after what you want because there is always gonna be someone right behind you busting their behind to take it away from you." Sadly, everyday he also reminds us about the real world that we are going to be thrown into pretty soon.. (we start college in 2 months... may: air traffic controller :), kathy: BA in information systems & international relations). And although he also reminds us how he won't be here in 10 years due to his disease, he wants us to be his legacy and that we shall be =) Mr. Incredible is definitely someone who has impacted our lives and wants nothing but the best for his students cause he knows whats out there. Mr. Incredible we <3 you!

Countdown to Gradnite: 16 days
Prom: 51 days
Graduation: 56 days

Ready or not here we come real world =)
